Nelson Garden AB respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy for Employees describes your rights to privacy and our commitment to protect your personal data. Our Privacy Policy and guidelines respect and correspond with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. The Privacy Policy’s area of application

This Privacy Policy concerns individuals who are employees of Nelson Garden AB (hereinafter “Nelson Garden”).

The processing of personal data is described on the basis of your employment with Nelson Garden.

Personal data is information that can identify you as a person, for example email address, street address, phone number or an image.

3. The purpose of processing personal data

Nelson Garden only processes personal data to the extent that such processing is necessary for the performance of our commitments as an employer.

4. How we collect your personal data

In general, Nelson Garden collects data directly from you.

The type of data that Nelson Garden collects about you can be, but is not limited to:

- Contact details, e.g. name, address, phone number and email address
- Account details
- Employment information about you, e.g. job title
- Photos or videos of you recorded in our premises or at events

5. Sharing of your personal data

Nelson Garden does not share your personal data with any third party that intends to use the data for marketing purposes.

Nelson Garden may share your personal data with a third party when it is necessary to be able to fulfil a legal obligation pursuant to current law or at the request of an authority.

5.1 Subcontractors and exports of personal data

In certain cases, Nelson Garden uses subcontractors to process personal data, for example an occupational healthcare provider. When using subcontractors, Nelson Garden will always enter into a Personal Data Processing Agreement in order to make sure that your personal data is protected.

Nelson Garden only retains your personal data for as long as necessary in order to satisfy requirements in laws and agreements, for example the Swedish Accounting Act. This means that we retain your personal data for a reasonable time after your last period of employment with us. When the personal data we have collected is no longer required, we erase it in a secure manner.

Nelson Garden has undertaken to prevent the unauthorised access, disclosure or other deviating processing of your personal data. Furthermore, Nelson Garden works to guarantee the correct use of personal data, in order to maintain data integrity and to guarantee the availability of data. We use reasonable and appropriate physical, technical and administrative processes and measures in order to protect the information we collect and process.

7.2 Change of personal data

You have the right to know which personal data Nelson Garden has saved and to have any errors rectified. You can submit a request for this to HR/HR Manager.

You also have the right to request your personal data be erased if the information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. There may, however, be legal obligations that prevent us from immediately erasing parts of your data.

8.1 Changes to this policy

The current Privacy Policy is available on the intranet. We encourage you to check the Privacy Policy for Employees on a regular basis. If we make changes that significantly change our Privacy Policy, we will notify you.
